Given the spread of the novel #CoronaVirus in India, its declaration as a pandemic by the WHO, and the decision of the Government of India to treat this as a notified disaster. It has left tens and thousands of poor people poorer and many have been starving, with no means of procuring stock of essentials to survive this pandemic.

Grocery kits were prepared to support daily wage workers and others who were affected due to lockdown.
A team of more than 40 volunteers worked for more than 8 hours to prepare 100 kits.
Each kit consists of two bags and has around 20 items sufficient for a household to manage for 30-45 days.
